The Winter Percussion Program The Winter Percussion Program is a program designed to teach the beginner through seasoned veteran the art of percussion ensemble. Focus will be primarily on public performance via the following: building rhythmic vocabulary, technique on various percussion instruments, developing skills through exercises, rehearsing the performance piece(s) and overall performance and ensemble cohesiveness aspects. This ensemble is open to anyone interested in learning to play percussion. Students do not need to be involved in marching band to participate, nor do they need to knowhow to play an instrument. Students in Marching Band are strongly encouraged to attend Winter Percussion to advance their skills.
Winter Percussion Dates:
Rehearsals: Mon & Wed 6:00pm-8:30pm

Feb - 1, NO REHEARSAL on 6th, 8, 13, 15, 27, 29
